The D&S Group has been active on the world wide web since 2001 when its first web site was launched and since then there have been five major revisions, it now having received another make-over with the latest multi domain version coming online recently. Developed entirely in house by Digital Business Manager Ken Muturi and his collaborating team from the ICT division, the new site is available at www.davisandshirtliff.com with country specific sites for Tanzania (.co.tz), Uganda (.co.ug) and Zambia (.co.zm)
The D&S Product Manual is the Group's key product reference and the 2021 version has just been released in its 11th Edition. Since the first version in 2011 the size has increased from 240 to this year's 428 pages which demonstrates the considerable expansion in the product range over the period. Of particular importance has been Dayliff products, notably pumps but also other items including expansion of the Solar and Water Treatment segments.

This year marks an unprecedented period, not just at Davis & Shirtliff but around the globe largely due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Top of our mind has always been our customers. You are the main reason why the business exists and without you, we would not exist in any form.

For water supplies generally though particularly for solar pumping installations, water storage is an essential system component. Cost effective roto moulded tanks have now become the norm though tank support structures are usually made on site and are of variable quality and strength. To address this D&S has now launched SunTower, an engineered structure fabricated from high tensile steel sections that has been designed with a particular focus on simplified erection that will enable complete systems to be installed in a day.
